Bio

EDUCATION: I attended University of Michigan where I earned a BA in Psychology and English. I attended Loyola University Maryland's doctoral psychology program where I earned my PsyD. I completed my APA-accredited internship at the University of San Diego's Counseling Center and completed a fellowship in behavioral medicine, trauma, and diversity at the VA Healthcare System in San Diego.

INTEREST IN PSYCHOLOGY: I began taking psychology courses in college and was fascinated and excited that there were ways to understand peoples behavior and help if needed. After college, I participated in an Americorps program in D.C. where I served as a caseworker for people experiencing homelessness. I loved this work and being able to see tangible changes in peoples lives. I attended grad school after that year and the rest is history!

FREE TIME! I love anything outdoors! You can often find me hiking, planning a backpacking trip, at the beach, or paddle boarding. I love exploring and have been all over the U.S. and on international trips. My favorite places so far have been Banff, Iceland, and the Philippines. I'm a huge fan of fiction novels and will go through a few books a month. I love horror movies and thriller series!
